Karla Miranda, M.D.

Dr. Karla Miranda is an experienced and dedicated general practitioner with 12 years of experience in the medical field. She earned her medical degree from the Universidad Central del Caribe School of Medicine in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. Dr. Miranda is a former member of the U.S. Army, where she served as a physician at multiple medical facilities, including McWethy Troop Medical Clinic in Fort Sam Houston, TX, Clark Health Clinic in Fort Bragg, NC, and U.S. Army Schofield Barracks Health Clinic in Schofield Barracks, HI. Dr. Miranda chose to pursue a career in medicine driven by a profound admiration for the sense of service that doctors provide to their communities. She is passionate about making a difference in her patients' lives, particularly through effective communication and attentive listening, which she believes are essential to fostering strong doctor-patient relationships. In her free time, she enjoys singing, karaoke, salsa and bachata dancing, and going to the beach.
